Our Casual Concerts are held on Sunday
afternoons in the beautiful Chapel (the smaller
building just north of the main church) of Country
Club Christian Church.

Featuring local and regional guitarists and musicians, these concerts are held on Sunday afternoons from 3:30-4:30.

Concerts are open to the public at no cost.  They are FREE.  The Kansas City Guitar Society pays all performers for their artistry from the generous donations of our supporters.  Donations are gratefully received!

Ryan Head is a guitarist and teacher based in Kansas City. Mr. Head is in high demand as a performer and teacher and is equally successful in both roles. His sensitive and musical interpretations have earned Ryan praise both regionally and internationally.

Aleia González, classical guitarist, was born in Asuncion, Paraguay, where she began her guitar studies at the age of 8. Aleia is a second-year Master of Music in classical guitar performance student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, under the coaching of Dr. Braulio Bosi.

Bráulio Bosi, born in Brazil in 1987, began his musical life playing electric guitar when he was 14 years old and began his studies of classical guitar when he was admitted to the Federal University of Espírito Santo as a Musical Education Major at the age of 18. 

Bráulio studied with Douglas Niedt at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance, where he was awarded a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in guitar performance in 2016. Niedt recently retired and Bráulio has taken over as chair of the guitar program at UMKC.
