Our Casual Concerts are held on Sunday
afternoons in the beautiful Chapel (the smaller
building just north of the main church) of Country
Club Christian Church.

Featuring local and regional guitarists and musicians, these concerts are held on Sunday afternoons from 3:30-4:30.

They are FREE.

Ryan Head is a guitarist and teacher based in Kansas City. Mr. Head is in high demand as a performer and teacher and is equally successful in both roles. His sensitive and musical interpretations have earned Ryan praise both regionally and internationally.

Aleia González, classical guitarist, was born in Asuncion, Paraguay, where she began her guitar studies at the age of 8. Aleia finished her conservatory studies in 2011, and kept performing in the Asuncion area as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2016, she was elected to be part of “Pu Rory” guitar ensemble, under the direction and coaching of Paraguayan classical guitarist Berta Rojas. Aleia has performed in the Kansas area throughout 2018 both as a soloist, and collaborating with tenor Neal Long. She is now a first-year Master of Music degree student in classical guitar performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, studying with Dr. Bráulio Bosi.  Read More…

He received his formal training with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from Wheaton College Conservatory where he studied with Muriel Anderson and a Master of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Missouri in Kansas City where he studied with Douglas Niedt.  Read More…
